a nostalgia of a faraway past

Anemoia is a local fashion boutique that offers an unique blend of old-world charm and contemporary flair. Inspired by the beauty of the Victorian aesthetic, they bring intricate laces, luxurious fabrics, and refined silhouettes together with modern edges of fashion for a timeless wardrobe with a touch of chic and romance.

Anemoia's logo suite draws heavy inspiration from the romantic side of Victorian era. The logotype is a semi-custom typeface, featuring ornate details, soft curves on the serif, and sharp tapered tails — qualities that are commonly seen in vintage decors.

We then extended this theme to other aspect of the brand. The icon was inspired by the intricate illustrative style of the era, coupled with an image of a dragonfly, a popular insect on Victorian jewelry and a symbol of transience. By locking the icon inside a photo frame, it turns into a captured moment in time that we can see and experience. Everything then is paired with a warm but bold color scheme for a modern upgrade.
